ACC letter seeking Interpol red alert against Hasina-Joy
(ACC) has sent a letter to issue an Interpol red alert against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her son Sajeeb Wazed Joy. The investigation officers of the plot fraud case sent this letter on Thursday.
In the letter, the Police Headquarters was informed to take necessary steps to issue this red alert against Sheikh Hasina and her son Joy, the accused in the corruption case.
The letter said that Sheikh Hasina and her son have fled abroad.
In the interest of justice, the court has issued a warrant to identify the location of the accused and bring them back to the country to face the law.
Meanwhile, the third day of testimony in three separate cases against ousted former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, her sister Sheikh Rehana and her sister’s daughters Tulip Siddique, Azmina Siddique Ruponti and other accused on charges of fraud in the allocation of plots by the Capital Development Authority (RAJUK) concluded today.
The testimony was held at the Fourth Special Judge’s Court in Dhaka in the morning. Earlier, testimony was completed on 44 documents from the seized list in the case.
